Ingredients

2 cucumber slices, ¼" thick

2¼ oz. gin

¾ oz. Aperol

Lemon twist (for serving)

Muddle 2 cucumber slices, ¼" thick in a mixing glass to break up cucumber and release juice. Add 2¼ oz. gin and ¾ oz. Aperol, then fill with ice. Stir for 25 seconds—don’t rush it; dilution is crucial here. Double-strain, using a cocktail strainer over the mixing glass and a fine-mesh strainer, into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
