Marvin Gould

Marvin Gould has been practicing art and music for over 50 years. Because of his mother’s professional music career he was playing the guitar at the age of 9. Because of his Dad’s engineering career, he was fascinated by mark making. Both influences led to serious practice in drawing and music. Marvin has professional experience as a draftsman, sign maker, billboard designer and painter, graphic designer, art faculty and professional musician. His work is inspired by the imposition of architecture onto the natural landscape. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art and he exhibits in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
