A betel nut box.. Hand made of hard wood . These trays were originally used in the practice of consuming Betel Nut. Betel nut is the seed from fruit of the areca palm prepared with powder chewed considered a stimulant that can produce alertness similar to caffeine in coffee. These trays are collectible. The trays can be used to hold incense, trinkets, etc.
