Sunday Selects | Fall Vibes


Tai Tindall creates engaging and balanced compositions through rhythmic drip pour techniques combined with multi-textured layering. Her artwork is often rooted in concepts that relate to self-awareness, growth, and change, serving as a conduit for sharing her story and perspective as a Black woman in America. Tindall’s Congo Square series is informed by time spent in New Orleans at this historic place where enslaved people once gathered. Her newest work, Over 36 City Blocks, applies similar techniques to explore the legacy of Tulsa’s Greenwood community.

Featured Artist | Kollabs


Kollabs is a collaboration between Miami-based artist, Luis Garcia-Nerey and Atlanta-based artist, Anke Schofield. They explore questions on the human construct within the forest and its inhabitants. The artists present a provocative series of collaborative paintings and installations that create a sense of wonder evoking questions on, and of, the interaction between human life and the forest environment. Kollabs’ offer the viewer a preview into a familiar environment while challenging them to examine the existence of human and animal beings.

Sunday Selects | Organic Texture


Brandon Reese’s focus on experimentation and varying techniques relates to his belief that the best part of life is the process, “My art wears the fingerprints, cuts, dents and other texturing as a roadmap and documentation of its creation.” He works primarily with stoneware and porcelain. Reese’s most recent pieces combine salt glazed stoneware and reclaimed native wood. His work is predominately known for its simple, familiar forms created in a variety of methods and at such large scales that the pieces push the traditional boundaries of ceramic art.
