sunday selects | soft blues

Sunday Selects is a weekly review of the art, artists and culture curated by gallery director and founder Kim Fonder. By providing a connection to newly discovered art and objects as well as sharing enjoyed rituals, Exhibit hopes to expand enjoyment of the creative approach in your everyday life. We find this approach similar to the concept of wabi sabi, a Japanese term referring to the appreciation of the beauty of imperfection, impermanence, and simplicity as the natural state of things in the world. This week we feature Chris Brandell, Patti Parsons, and Pascal Pierme.

Modern Farmhouse

Modern farmhouse interior design is a popular style that combines the rustic charm of traditional farmhouse decor with contemporary elements and clean lines. Consider choosing pieces that feature natural elements, such as landscapes or botanicals, to enhance the organic feel of the farmhouse style. Alternatively, abstract or geometric art can add a modern twist to the design. Pairing art with vintage or distressed furniture pieces can create a unique and inviting atmosphere that is both stylish and cozy. With the right art pieces, you can create a modern farmhouse interior that is both beautiful and functional.
