Bernd Haussmann’s artwork explores gesture, color, and texture in paintings on metal, acrylic, glass, wood, canvas and paper, mimicking the effects of time, temperature and the environment on surfaces. Born and educated in Germany, Haussmann has been a long-time resident of the North Shore of Boston and Maine, where he maintains studios.
