Cobalto Blu I

Bright and exuberant, Cobalto Blu I is a truly unique piece. The blue is striking, a combination of soft and hard lines for its exterior. A slash of silver pierces the heart of the blue, giving the piece definition and power. While some blues might evoke sadness or play as dower on the canvas, the cobalt is loud and happy, contrasting perfectly with the silver background. While the colors are bright, the piece itself is reserved. Like all of Fonder’s pieces, it makes its statement quickly and simply and does not need to shout it. Though simple, the texture of the media provide the viewer with plenty to look at.
